Question SNACC CC's

Ok I have a PSR500 and can do the analyze steps for a trunked system. According to the rrdb freqs, I have loaded only the cc's. So far only four have actually been analyzed correctly (Carrier noise heard, Site info and 116.13 sid 4a36 SO1 and I even get the simulcast on the bottom line) Like I said this works for only four of the listed cc's. (Apex site 02 03 and 06) Shouldn't this happen for all the cc's? Maybe I'm not in range of the other cc's? Or the rrdb is not exactly correct? Or maybe I'm overlooking something else, can someone explain a Mot Smartzone and how it may effect my scanner? OBTW one of the cc's listed 860.4625 is a NSRS freq. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Don,
Did you remember to set the rebanding tables? Knowing you, you probably have, but never knows. I am not having any troubles anywhere in the valley for CCFD NLVPD Henderson PD or city fire.

Default more on cc's

Don't get me wrong I can monitor just fine, I have loaded into my freq list only those shown as cc's in red on the rrdb. Now let's say you hear a transmission and you see tsys on the bottom line. Hit that F2 button and you see "Analyse" hit F3 to analyse. Then as you scroll down your freq list you will hear and see what I'm describing "carrier noise and details of the system on the display". Now assuming all my freqs are supposed to be cc's there should be equal results with every freq on the list? Within range of course. Ideas?

Just my 2 pennies worth...

As always, I take the few extra minutes to add all the voice frequencies to a site along with the Control Channels. I'm sure that using Control Channel Only mode might shave a micro second off of my scan time, but I like having the assurance that if or when they decide to change a Control Channel, I won't be missing anything.

I have always followed this practice on my BCD996T. A few times in the past I noticed that other members were wondering why they were suddenly no longer hearing a certain entity. In each of those instances, I had been monitoring that entity all along despite a Control Channel change.
