Maybe. I do not hear Sparks PD,FD or Reno PD. Might want to check out
the database. I have just the Antenna that came with my PRE 300 HH. I also
live in Carson City. Being in the Reno and Sparks area might make a difference.
I do not not know as I came back to scanning after about 15 years so munch
has changed.

For the Reno Sparks area you need to monitor the Washoe County EDACS system - there is not a whole lot of stuff on the statewide system here except for NDOT - Program in the Site 1 freqs - Metro Simlucast - that will give you Reno, Sparks, Washoe County and a host of others including NHP

Holmdt - you might also try Site 2 - Slide Mountain as well as Site 1 - Joe

Washoe County Trunking System, Washoe County, Nevada - Scanner Frequencies

i programmed the metro simulcast in lcn order for reno spx area, if you get into washoe lake area and south you have to program another bank in lcn order with one of the appropriate trs freq's.

that is what GRE programed for me. But I do get NDOT and some school buses. (not sure
from what school dist.)

you might have your talk groups "open", while scanning the carson bank hit function then the period/delay key and in the top right corner of the screen you should see a positive go to a negative symbol, that way you are only scanning the tgid's that you programmed.
