I just saw a new LVMPD freq posted,(155.625) is this the same ROPE channel for Metro pl114.8? Or is this a new thing with a different tone?

Same! It says Fugitive Detail in the DB..... Maby they just reassigned the freq???

Just wondering if anyone has heard any traffic on this channel? Its been in my scan list just haven't heard anything maby someones had better luck?

I have a feeling it is actually a Metro TAC channel that the Wanted Fugitive detail uses among others. TAC channels are usually a whole lot of nothing since most details have the Motorola walkie-talkie phones.

For years, 155.625 has been known as a channel used by "general detectives" meaning if they are not normally using another channel like a vice frequency they are likely to be found here. It is not really new.

Thanks for the info guys! Its been in my list for quite some time I just never heard anything on it! I was hoping that since it made it to the db that maby their would be some more frequent chatter but guess I was wrong! Anyways thanks for the clarification!

I copied some surveillance traffic on that freq when I was staying in Vegas a couple of weeks ago. They were using 114.8 pl
There was an air unit to ground units.
Great stuff. I am going to miss this big time when they all switch
