I logged 154.43 (pL 71.9) the past few days while in town for Clark Co Rural FD units dispatch, but nothing on 154.34. Is 154.43 the new frequency used (or rather, is it the one used since I monitored last about 11 months ago)?

Thanks

This is just a little bit of a guess, but you probably are looking for 154.43.
The 154.34 is the H.E.A.R. system for ambulance to hospital.
They could be using .34, but .43 makes more sense unless it sounded like an ambulance/aid unit talking to a hospital.
HEAR has fallen out of favor, but still exists especially in outlying areas.

Here's what I've found in my travels through rural Clark Co-

154.430 is in the Las Vegas valley and is a rebroadcast of Clark Co rural fire Ch 7 and 8 for the county fire officials in the city. It has appeared within the last year.

Clark rural fire Ch 7 out 154.34, in 153.77. Tone is on the input only with discrete tones for different repeaters. Input tones: 162.2 Virgin repeater (Moapa Valley)
88.5 Bunkerville repeater
103.5 Potosi repeater
156.7 Searchlight repeater
118.8 Laughlin repeater
Clark rural fire Ch 8 out 154.400, in 153.95 with tone 131.8 Gass Peak repeater
Clark rural fire Ch 9 Fireground 154.205 simplex, no tone.
Rural fire paging is on 154.34 with discrete pager tones for each station.
Clark rural fire depts can talk to Clark SAR units by using simplex on the SAR repeater output 156.03.
Clark SAR repeater info in the database is correct.
Clark rural fire also has the statewide fire mutual aid channels:
White 1 - 154.28
White 2 - 154.265
White 3 - 154.295
Most scanner nuts are aware these freqs are used nationwide for fire mutual aid.
I know nothing about the 800mhz freqs in Jean and Laughlin.
I'll post this info to the NV database.

Exactly right

Cryptolog has it 100.0% correct.
FYI, plans to bring SNACC 800 mHz out to the rural FD's appears to have slowed due to funding drought. Plan to hear VHF in those areas for a while longer.

K7NG now in sunny Coos Bay, OR

CCFD Rural Channels

154.430 used to be the admin paging channel. Fire Chief, inspectors ETC. NOW it seems it is rebroadcasting Channel 7 and Maybe 8.
154.340 is 7 genearlly for south stations
154.400 is 8 and generally for north stations
NDF is on 8

155.340 is the old HEAR net

154.370 is still in use as the back up top the station vocal. Radio checks every morning.
