man, i love Las Vegas for radio activity!

not only did my 296 go nuts last October when i drove in from Arizona, but kismet did too!

you can just walk out on the street and hear something any time of day...

but anyway, doesn't AES have a store near the strip?

I would recommend both AES located at 4640 South Polaris Avenue (1/4 mile north of Tropicana west of I-15) and Radio World in Boulder City (Marshal Plaza located to your left as you drive into BC from the LV area just beyond the end of the divided highway). Radio World's phone number is 294-2666 and AES has a number of 647-3114. Both of them carry good lines of scanners with Radio World offering used scanners as well. Also each has a fine line of accessories as well. Check them out.

If you don't need digital but want a lot of features I suggest the Uniden 330 which Radio World has in stock and I assume AES also has it. I own one and love it.
