Default Need Home Repeaters for Venetian Hotel--Can Pro-97 Users Help?

The Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas recently installed a 454 MHz LTR trunked system. The frequencies use the new 6.25 kHz spacing. I was able to figure out the home repeaters for six out of ten identified freqs, but I also found four other freqs which I could not put in their proper home repeaters, because they are overflow channels. See my webpage for all ten frequencies:

http://www.davidschoenberger.net/sca...a/lasvegas.htm

Normally, I would use my BC250D to figure out which home repeater the system was trying to access, but the 250 won't accept 6.25 kHz step sizes (and it won't work using the next closest freq).

So, I need some help figuring out where those other four frequencies belong. I believe we need someone with a Pro-97, using the LTR repeater find function. The Pro-97, I was reading, does accept the 6.25 kHz steps, so assuming the repeaters in question are transmitting the data burst, we should be able to get the home repeater numbers.

(By the way, no, I don't have one of those LTR-decoding computer programs to help with this situation.)

Sorry this question was a little long, but it takes a lot to explain what's going on with this system. A big thanks in advance if anyone's able to help with this.

Dave

Question

Dave, I'm not very familiar with LTR, but I do understand the basic concepts. I am pretty big on using the computer programs for trunking these days. Do you know if there is a program similar to unitrunk or T4win that works for LTR? If there is I would be glad to help you out. I don't own the pro 97, so I can't go that route.

NO?

Well, there's really no wrong way to do it...

Yes, there is a computer program for LTR. I think there's a lot of information about it on some of the other boards here. If you could get that working, that would probably do the trick. Thanks for offering to help out with this.

Dylan,

Thank you very much! I appreciate this greatly, as I will be going to Vegas in a few days and will find this info quite helpful.

Yes, I've already seen that. It has been helpful for past trips to Vegas. The author actually used (for his page) a bunch of the stuff on my page that I monitored last trip.
