NHP radios are not capable of doing I-Calls. The ones you may catch on the NSRS will most likely be from Nevada Power.

I-Call is a conversation held on a TRS between one specific unit to another specific unit on that system whereby no other unit on that system can hear or participate in the conversation. It is something like a telephone conversation but can be monitored by someone outside of the TRS if they have their scanner set up to receive I-Calls. Many users of I-Calls think their conversation is private but little do they know. In the LV area the vast majority of I-Calls on the NSRS involve Nevada Power Company personnel and they talk about many topics that have nothing to do with their jobs and some very inappropriate language is often used.

Hope this answers your question.
