Today and continuing after 1700 hours NHP was conducting radio training on LV4 for the benefit of the DPS Parole and Probation Division. It was somewhat entertaining which largely involved vehicle stops and running subjects. It may have also involved defensive tactics training to test officer followup actions to certain situations (wanted persons, etc.) in which the officer would then perform an arrest with an instructor playing the role of the offender who might be somewhat uncooperative.
Anyway, LV 4 can be used for special events and training and is a talkgroup that is worth monitoring. The TG ID is 05-127.
