Bear with me I am new to all this.

I have a Pro-97 and am using Win97. I downloaded all the frequencies and trunking groups from the web import feature of Win97.

I uploaded all the frequencies and talkgroups into the scanner, but for the life of my I cannot get HPD East of 95. I can hear traffic all over GV, but nothing for "Old Henderson".

Please help.

I wonder if the control channels are not correct of if your scanner bank isn't set up for the Motorola Type II system that Henderson is on. I had a similar problem on my Pro95 scannere out here on the West side of Las Vegas. When I checked out the bank I noticed that some of the channels had not been set to the correct trunked system.

I hope this helps.

From what I gather, most of the traffic is on 57616 and traffic will shift to 57712 if the channel has gone to code red. I wonder if we will see traffic split up between the two talkgroups when HPD goes to individual beats or does HPD have alot of traffic on their mobile computer terminals.

Hpd

Most of the lower priority calls go out via the mobile dispatch terminals so you won't be able to monitor any of that. Before the mobile data terminals came into being with HPD at night around 2000 the PD would split the channels as traffic picked up a great deal.
As long as traffic is not too heavy I would expect no changes.

Thanks!!!

Thanks everyone I figured it out.

You are all right. HPD doesn't do much over the radio, because of the mobile terminals.

So they are all going off of the main dispatch talkgroup.

Thanks for all the ansewers!!!!
