Hey everyone is Pahrump using the SNACC or are they conventional? My ex and kids live in Pahrump and I'll be driving my daughter back up there from San Diego this weekend and I'll be staying over night and wanted to monitor while I'm there. Thanks for the help.

From the database:

Nye County, Nevada (NV) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

Looks like they're still fully conventional with just a few channels but that could change as Pahrump continues to grow over time. Nye County is huge but it just ain't got all that much going on.

But then again:

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=669

At the very bottom of the page it seems they do have some SNACC connectivity there as well so, that's a good thing I'd say. Never noticed that before...

SNACC

PVFR is on Snacc analog and they switch to the old conventional freqs occasionally. Nye County Sheriff is also on Snacc but digital. It looks like the database is correct.

I'm in Pahrump now and have had no luck. Either they aren't running any calls or I didn't program right. I'm using both a Uniden BC346XTC and a Pro-96.
