The Division of Emergency Management is part of the Dept. of Public Safety and utilizes the NSRS. If you want a complete list of their talk groups look at a copy of the Southern Nevada Scanner Book and you will see their talk groups for the entire State not just Southern Nevada.
155.145 and 155.715 were used years ago in Nevada as a linked EMS system in the rural areas and in LV by the LVMPD for other purposes. I have not heard it in operation in years but do know that the State OEM uses the NSRS.
155.145 is EFFPD MutualAid 4
155.715 is DCSO chnl 8
More than likely, the EOC will be using NSRS, and soon the digital 25, as the push is on to get Douglas county to apco25 capable radios, then digital. They did narrow-band us though(EFFPD) and BLM and USFS. We dont want no stinkin 800 system though..
I was talking to a friend of mine from Johnson Lane Fire Dept. and he said the probabilty of them switching to apco25 is very unlikely due to the budget
