Carson City Capitol Police?

Does anyone know what talkgroups or frequencies the Capitol Police in Carson City use? I'm going to take a wild guess that they are on NSRS like their Vegas counterparts. I am going to visit my brother in Mound House in the spring, and I just want to make sure I have all bases covered. Any help is much obliged. BTW, does anyone know if the Southern Nevada Scanner Guide is available via mail order? I know it's sold at AES in Vegas. Thanks again.

The Capitol Police in Northern Nevada uses the NSRS talkgroup of 05-082.
The Scanner Guide is sold at AES and is available via mailorder at www.aesham.com or call their toll free number of 1-800-634-6227. Their stock number is NVSCAN1.

It is also available via mailorder thru Radio World in Boulder City. You can call them at 702-294-2666.

The system radio techs often chat with many sites linked up and can easily be heard in many areas of the state. Informality often happens and useful info can be obtained by monitoring them. Just listen for talkgroup ID 06-141.
