The first listing for "Hawthorne" is located at Corey Peak, sometimes known as "TV Hill" which is very close by. The "Wellington" listing is located at "Pine Grove", which is accessed by a dirt road south of there on the east side of State Highway 338. It is sometimes known as "Lobdelle", which is what the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest repeater listings show it as. It is actually located at the north end of the Pine Grove Mountains and is known better by that name.

I've researched a few more of these, but I'm not at my desk right now to look up my notes. I will try to look them up another time.

great job putting all of this together! I took an hour or so and put it all into google earth, but the*.kml file is not accepted by rr. I saw several things that I thought were a little off, and some that I thought I could help out with.

3 sites listed here in southern nevada are based at power plants/substations, and probably do not carry any traffic onther than NV power related operations.

These are very near each other in a flat area north of wells, and don't appear like they would give very good coverage to either US-93 or I-15. These look like some corrupted data to me
Also, Currie is a small DOT station near the junction of US 93 and US 93A, not north of I-15. with the old VHF system they had a repeater on the same site as the DOT repeater, that I heard called Currie, by a few NHP cars caravanning up to Elko, when it was time for them to switch channels. I would have expected to see a site somewhere around here : 40 15 59.3N, 114 44 37.3W, b4t a search thr64gh the FCC web page showed no 800 systems within 10 miles of that area.

Also I'm suprised not to see anything north of wells on US 93 toward Idaho. I would have expected to see a site near Jackpot or the Contact DOT station.
Grindstone Mtn near Elko seems to heave been replaced with a site on East Twin, which I also found surprising.

If there's any other help I can give, just let me know. I might throw the laptop in the truck and go for a drive with Unitrunker one of these days, and see what I can hear.
