I just started trying to take a little more time to play with my radios the last few weeks, and I just got around to trying to figure out what was going on with the sloan site. I knew that I read a new frequency had been added back in April,
http://radioreference.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66835 but I was never sure if I had put it in the right place or not. (LCN).
It didn't look like there had been any resolution on this either, so I wonder
what LCN everybody else is using.
In the thread I mentioned earlier edgeman was the last to post and he had added 867.3250 in LCN 10, but, it was reading as CTL 09 on his pro 97.
I bought a new USB to Serial adaptor last week at Fry's and I have been using that to program my 246t. I just started playing around with unitrunker controlling my 246t, and I am having trouble figuring out the LCN for sloan.
I've got my own ideas about the correct LCN, but I want to verify it against what everyone else has. Listening and watching talkgroups on unitrunker seem to track well with my LCN. I'll post my LCN in a few days, I just don't want to "pollute the waters" you might say.
Also the scanner book I have (April 07 edition 6) seems to have come out just before this change was made, so it is slightly out of date.
Thanks Beej!
