Las Vegas PD Trunked?

Hi all,
I saw an episode of COPS last Saturday and I was listening to the radio comms. I could have swore I heard a trunking access tone burst when Metro called dispatch. I know that COPS puts in sound effects etc. into the audio tracks. Are they still conventional with separate frequencies? It looks like thay carry XTS-3000s VHF as well.

Are you sure that wasn't NORTH Las Vegas on Cops? They have an 800 Mhz EDACS system, and I recall seeing a North Las Vegas episode recently on Cops.

Also, Henderson PD uses the County Motorola 800 TRS. A lot of people get Henderson confused with Las Vegas
