Default Online Scanner

I have put together a feed from my house. I host the feed myself and built the website from scratch.

Check it out and leave feedback...

I've seen these feeds before.

Would this perhaps be connected to any other site?

The "Emergency!" tones are a tad loud, yeah?

The feeds on the "Other Feeds" page are hosted by other places that I put on my page to make them easier for me to find. Each feed on the "Other Feeds" page shows where they came from. The feed on the home page is mine.

I've been playing with it. I like it, but it's not very friendly.

I have gone from using Media Encoder to host the feed at my house to pushing it to a server. The website will remain the same though.

Wouldn't these "other feeds" be just as easy to find with a simple bookmark? That is how I would do it.

I don't get it. A whole new page in lieu of a simple click of the mouse?

Another quote: "Each feed on the "Other Feeds" page shows where they came from."

THEY ALL COME FROM THE SAME SITE!!

Why not just say" I provide feeds to this site therefore, I am going to link my site to that page in hopes of generating more revenue."

I will say no more on this subject.

Seems to make sense. Less Bookmarks required and if you listen to more than one it's all on the same page.

I guess I don't get the revenue thing. I don't pay for the site and have never noticed any invasive advertising.

If that's the way that you like to do it, fine. I like to use Media Player so I can only stream one at a time... With all of those feeds on the same page I can stream as many as I want at the same time... To me, it's all about personal preference.

And as far as revenue... Everything I do is free... and I don't pay for anything... so whoever is making money... good for them... but it's not me.
