Default Bud plant trunk - encrypted or unused?

Since I'm not too far away, I set up my scanner to scan the Anheuser-Busch plant's trunked system. But I've never heard anything. Toying with UniTrunker, I never saw any activity on it at all, even though the controller is pretty strong here.

In the back of my mind I seem to recall someone mentioning that they use an encrypted control channel, but I can't find this supported anywhere, and wonder how there's a list of talkgroups if this is the case. But it seems equally improbable that they'd just stop using the system entirely. Anyone know what gives?

I vaguely recall (perhaps here, on the Scan New Hampshire email list or on scan new england) that use of that system had ceased... I believe in favor of Sprint PTT phones or some other technology.

It wasn't encrypted that I am aware of. But I don't get down there enough during the work week to monitor. I have heard talkgroups w/very little activity in the past. Last time I was there, even with the trunked, the stables were using Nextels.

Totally random, but it's nice to finally see you post John! I hear you all the time on CFD, I'm with the Dunbarton FD, I heard from a few people that you were also a HAM, nice to see that your job is somewhat related to amateur radio!
