Hey there John, So far so good with the 857,I also bought a ftr meter as well as a z100 tuner,and the programming software, I did not know you used this site.I joined it a while back, but have not posted much, but it is a nice site which lots of information,73s David

I also got a 857, i think the same week as you. I just need to get a screwdriver antenna for the Jeep and i'm set. I'm tired of swapping hamsticks all the time. I did manage to pick up a few DX stations this weekend though while mobile on 20.
