After a debate with a friend,
I decided to listen to -what I call- the Barrington 935 trunk..
Clues in the past lead me there, and let it go.
So i hooked up my 800 mhz magnet mount.
As I travelled to Portsmouth down rte 236 in Eliot,
I watched the signal on my uniden 396XT drop to 1 bar.
The CC is 938.600.
The old license had it at 634 State street, Portsmouth..
Well, I got on 95 south, and 938.600 hit my pro 106 signal stalker at the height of the bridge.
I just pushed the arrow to let it continue to stalk 938.600..
After dealing with downtown traffic,
I got to 634 State street and saw a church with a killer antenna on top..
It was a directional antenna with many, many elements.
It made the shape of an arrow. ( the whole thing I mean )
Right there, on bandscope, 938.600 was weak at best..
The pro 106 says ID--723C, which in Scan N-E has it listed in Ports..
There was no 935 signal there.
So, I am guessing it is in Farmington.
938.600 has no license in NH from what little the FCC database gives
Site / Frequency / Market Search Results
That is for 938.600--no limitations.
Can anyone check their signal?
I got 5 bars, at Berwick Academey.
Maine is 938.650--I'm hearing it now--SID:7439 S--
2-pm, they'll be talking...
