Are these worth monitoring? What kind of traffic do you hear on them?
Thanks

These are the digital (4xxxxx Talkgroups) that I know of:
40976 Radio Repair Digital
41008 BPU Units – Board of Public Utilities
41072 DCF Units – Department of Children and Families
41040 Digital Encrypted (C-Troop Only)
A few others have popped up in Unitrunker, but haven't been active in quite some time.
The Criminal Justice talkgroups are usually active. The Medical examiner T/G usually doesn't have much activity. The other AG Talkgroups are rarely used.

Its funny you mention that, just yesterday I put an 800Mhz antenna outside my house (max 800) and I was able to get a good C-Troop Signal on Unitrunker. A bunch of 28/29xxx talkgroups showed up:
28784 5 Hits
28816 2 Hits
28848 1 Hit
28880 1 Hit
29040 234 Hits
29072 10 Hits
29104 8 Hits
29136 4 Hits
29168 2 Hits
29200 22 Hits
29232 2 Hits
29424 3 Hits
Update: I checked unitrunker and 29040 was affiliated by at least 10-15 NJSP radios. A few new radios showed up with hits as well in the NJSP radio ID Range.

29040 is some sort of investigation unit. Sounds like the same sort of traffic as the CIB talkgroups.
