Default NY Fleet week Parade of Ships

The parade of ships coming into NY Harbor has been operating all morning on 277.8 (am)in case any one is interested.

Also noted 138.675 P25 encrypted full time

Oh also, 152.78MHz, Federal News Radio, WFED from Washington DC. Probably one of the remote broadcast sites aboard the ships for our service members.

152.780 has been running continuously in NYC for over a year now.

I also remember last year, a couple of the Citywide frequencies were actively being used by NYPD in the area where the ships were docked. You may hear some extra activity on 157.050 (NYC Coast Guard station) and 164.9125 (mostly P25 now). The NY Marine PD may be more active along with 122.9 and 123.100. If I remember correctly, last year someone posted a really nice group of frequencies they close-called during fleet week on the NYC forum. I'll be too busy enjoying myself at the beach than caring about the scanner hobby this weekend, but for those who do monitor, let us know what you pick up.
