Question Federal in NJ

Hello All,

Does anyone in the NJ area has any info on the FEDS? I went the federal forum and requested some freq for the NJ area but I am curious if anyone actively listens to the Feds from NJ. If so would you mind providing me with those Freq and would you kindly let me know where you are from. I am trying to listen to the Feds but I am in North Brunswick and I don't know if I would ever hear anything anyway. I tried to plug in the whole list of federal freq in my scanner but I have not got even a mic check.

Unhappy Feds

First things first you will need a Digital APCO P25 scanner to hear any federal comms.

Check the DB. There's a few listed for Middlesex County (USPS & EPA): http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=1782

Also, check here: http://www.eastcoastscanning.com/viewtopic.php?t=713

There are a lot of frequencies the feds use that are common to a particular agency and they have sites all over the place. Many are quite powerful as well. I can get this system fairly clear in Milford, CT.

That was my fault, I should have been more specific on what fields I am interested in. I would like to listen to FBI, ATF, DEA, US Mars, or ICE

Default Cross-Posting

Please don't cross post the same request in multiple forums. I have moved all responses to your other thread to this one and deleted your original request in the federal forum.

I don't listen routinely, but the FBI channels in North Jersey get some analog chatter.

Unless that's changed in the last six months?

I had the same problem. I spoke with another member there and he told me that it's something the admninistrator has to straighten out and he (the administrator) is nowhere to be found, or something along those lines.

Ok, We're having some trouble with our host. I'll see what I can come up with though.
