Somerset County Feed -- GRE Solution

For a few months now, I have been running a Somerset County Public Safety Feed using my GRE PSR-600 and the Win500 software. This feed is strictly an EMS / Fire / OEM / Police feed and prioritizes EMS and Fire.

Outside of Somerset County, all surrounding counties have been added to the scan (though they still remain outside of priority)
This includes parts of Hunterdon, Morris, Middlesex, Union and Mercer.

Also included is the NJSP talkgroups for aeromedical dispatch (i.e: NorthSTAR and SouthSTAR).

If you have too much on a feed, it almost becomes useless.

I haven't listened to your feed, but there are some feeds that try to hear EVERYTHING.

So when you listen, you hear snippets of everything. Big fire and you never hear it because someone two counties away has an open mic, a traffic stop, or a welfare check.

Just food for thought.
