AtlantiCare - Mainland ER

I've noticed something interesting in Mainland's ER. While inside, I can hear almost any transmission on Atlantic EMS 1 in the county crystal clear, as though they are standing right there, even portable transmissions. As soon as I walk outside, I don't pick them up. Does anyone know of some sort of repeater installed there?

I believe Medcom is in Mainland, or at least I think it was. There used to be a room by the ER but I haven't been in there since they built that addition. I could be wrong about Medcom, but there definately was some sort of dispatch there.

Medcom is in the main EMS office on Washington ave. in Egg Harbor Township

Ha, ya it is. What was I thinking. I can't remember anything anymore.

Anyway, there is/was something at the hospital that looked very much like some sort of dispatch.
