I only posted the info for users that need it for older scanners like the BC780xlt, I like to see the channel activity indicators and you have to enter all the freq's for that feature to work and not use CC only mode.

For the PSR 400 being a couple years old does this scanner have the cc mode as explained in a earlier post or do I have to reprogram my radio? Thanks..

You will find the answer here:

Control Channel Only - The RadioReference Wiki

Nearly every trunk tracking scanner manufactured within the past 9-10 years uses CC Only Mode for Motorola systems.

Once again, all you have to do is pay attention to the display while listening to the NJSP systems, and look to see if the new rebanded 851 - 854 MHz frequencies are popping up. If they are, then there is nothing more to do. The NJSP retrunking was a painless one. None of the CC's changed, and all of the new rebanded frequencies were already part of the old 800 MHz channel plan.

In short, all of this "rebanding panic" about custom channel plans and scanners that would stop working because they weren't reband ready did not apply to the NJSP rebands.

The 500/106 are CCO by default for all Moto/P25 systems.

If you are programming anything more than just the known CC's for a system, you are wasting memory objects...

Allot of the info you post in these threads is very useful, and I'm sure you have helped many users, but, your dealing with some very young users and some very old that don't understand some things right away, just because you post something doesn't mean the subject is closed. And because some users may take a little longer to understand, if this thread is starting to frustrate you, skip by it.
