Default New NJSP Trp A TG

Trunker found a new group on the A system today. 24752
76 hits btwn 7am and 6:30pm
12 radios affiliated to it for the 1st time today. RID's do not put it into a range of other id's that would help ID it.

Keep an ear out on other systems (B/C)

Dave

That and a few more have shown up on Trp C about a week or 10 days ago, still trying to figure out who they are.

Turned the scanner on to listen for the TG. Almost instantly, 7:09 A.M., Trooper reported location as Alloway Twp (Salem Cnty). Channel has been silent since. Will report next tnx.

It is now 7:17 and have to suspend listening. Have not heard any traffic since original report.

It sounded like the fish and game patrols to me. I was monitoring that one last night. The park police recently switched from VHF, perhaps the fish and game is now switching.

If it was Fish & Game, they don't talk alot on the VHF. So it might take awhile to id as such. I have it in my radio to see if i hear anything on Troop B.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

24752 is active this morning. It is the same dispatcher that is on the state park PD tg, 24756, and he makes reference to it being channel 11. Car reported as being out in ?? wildlife management area in Salem county.

Most affiliations appear to be dawn till dusk except 2 radios that were on until Midnight last night.

Monitoring as I can.

This is showing up on C Troop also. I'm not sure how they came up with channel 11, that doesn't make any sense to me.

Considering the geographic challenges Sussex County poses, I'm not surprised!

He might have been on a portable...

I'm not sure if it was a Portable or not. The transmission was quick. I looked at the scanner and it was done.
