Smile Atlantic City, N.J. P.D. Rebanding ( Motorola Sys.)

Did Atlantic City, N.J. reband their motorola system? I heard they did. Please let me know. If so, what are the changes? Are they using the new tables? Are they now pure P-25 system? ( 9600 baud controll channel). What are the new channels?

Last I heard from a reliable source is that they were in the process at this time. The frequencies should remain the same, just shift anything 866 above down 15MHz. or program the custom tables into your GRE/RadioShack scanner and you should be fine. You can even do this before the rebanding is completed and the system should still track. Also, at the present they are still a standard Motorola SmartZone 3600 Baud system with P25 audio for some talkgroups, they are NOT 9600 Baud P-25 Trunking as of yet. Eventually I would imagine they will make the switch when updated equipment is needed.

000851.35000000 1 1 20 FB2 1 75.000 35.000

000852.77500000 1 1 30 FB2 1 75.000 35.000
000853.10000000 1 1 31 FB2 1 75.000 35.000
000853.15000000 1 1 32 FB2 1 75.000 35.000
000853.40000000 1 1 33 FB2 1 75.000 35.000
000853.55000000 1 1 34 FB2 1 75.000 35.000
000853.62500000 1 1 35 FB2 1 75.000 35.000
000853.97500000 1 1 36 FB2 1 75.000 35.000
The license is effective today. It is just a matter of time before ACNJ rebands with new frequencies.

The tables that Wayne posted months ago? I thought the XT automatically had the 800 rebanded ability built-in, but FreeScan is asking for the uppers & lowers...

Whoops - never mind! I found the two tables on UPMan's TWIKI...
