Logged a couple more odd numbered ID's today on the Holmdel site

ID 129125 was denied at 09:06 and 09:08 this morning
- Should be someone in Atlantic Co

ID 1720111 was denied on A1-4 South (TG 2183) at 21:33 last night
- Should be someone in Salem Co

Neither conform to the regular standards regarding municipal codes or police ORI's.

OK ladies & gents, we appear to have a new fill-in site up north.

It's ID'ing as 035 with a CC of 774.06875. It has peerage with Walpack & the main Hunterdon Simulcast.

Also, the Easton site (018) does not appear as a peer at all anymore to any of the other sites.

Anyone willing to help track down the new site & can anyone confirm that Easton is still on the air?

So I've logged 8 IDs in the 817xxx series which by all rights should be Swedesboro units in Gloucester County.... the only problem is that Swedesboro doesn't have it's own police or fire department so that left me in a quandary as to who might be using those IDs.

Anyone have any insight? I've been finding a lot of out of norm IDs lately.

Default NJICS Site Control Channels

I'd like to breifly get off topic to ask a question.

I've recently noticed the RR Database for the NJICS - Site control channels - example 770.21875a 770.71875c (alternate and primary control channels) has a letter after the frequency.

What does that letter indicate? How does it effect programming?

Thank you.

The red 'c' is for the primary control channel. The blue 'a' is for the alternate control channels.

Anyone notice Montclair PD using their 2nd 700 channel now? My one scanner I usually block out the PD, but since 2 was not being used, I never locked it. Not sure what they are running on it just yet...wonder if anyone else noticed.

How active is the Bordentown simulcast? I've tuned into it a few times in the Toms River area, but aside from a few transmissions, it seems generally quiet. Did I program something wrong or is it just very quiet at this point?

The NJSP talkgroups are what I mainly programmed in. They're not simulcasted full time?

Looks like MedCentral changed up the radio plan. ALS is on Comm 1 and BLS is on Comm 2

Default Scotch Plains

"SC" units to county" (scotch Plains) on Union County Inter op 6. on NJICS. Anyone know if Scotch Plains PD is moving, or have moved to NJICS or is this testing ?

Would not suprise me because they are dispatched by union county. It wasn't a patch was it? And you are positive it was scotch plains.

locations are all Scotch plains. and they ID'd as "Scotch plains" at one point, on an EMS call. Yes, i think this is patched from their UHF, as of now, not sure

Hmm wonder why they are patching, could be for county pd interop. I don't know alot of people were going to move over, but they can't afford it and it's still not as reliable as a strictly county system would be.

It was confirmed to be today by a member of county staff that Scotch Plains is indefinitely patched to Union County I/O 6. This is due to Scotch Plains PD/FD/EMS starting the transition to the NJICS.
