Any of these new Union “County” talkgroups coming over on West Orange as well ? I’ve noticed in past that OEM, UCPD, UCSO and a few others were using both.

251 also has a cache radio, and I have heard them talking to UC 2400 directly via the NJICS to denote responding.

Newark, Belleville and Fairfield are NJICS. Use the West Orange Simulcast. Morris County is on its own UHF P25 system. You have to program that as a separate system.

I tried to reprogram the freqs. using the West Orange Simulcast. I still
don't hear anything for Newark FD Belleville PD and Fairfield PD. (Note I live 8 miles from W. Orange) I should be in range to pick them up.

Newark FD can also be heard on the Union County simulcast. You can try that one. Belleville and Fairfield I have only heard on the West Orange simulcast.

So today Newark Fire 4 - TG 4211 sounds like Newark PD or Essex County Sheriff operating. No radio ID's coming up at this point.

Any word on what is up?

You have to remember that just about every agency has roaming rights across the system.

A Montclair PD unit might be at the Union County Jail, etc...

0700 is the code for Essex County, so it would fit to some degree. Need more conversation though for content and context.

I have that talkgroup listed as County DOC Transport. I have no idea where I came up it, I must have heard some traffic on that talkgroup at one time.
