The TETRA system is for revenue and non-revenue contract operations. It's not going anywhere...

Default New Jersey Interoperability Communication System (NJICS)

The only prospect is we already see NJTPD are on the 800 and NJICS system.

The TETRA system is here to stay with transit, something that TETRA performs quite well in other countries.

About 100 new NJ Transit radio ID's have showed up today so far and counting on the 800 system. all in the 12xxx range. They have been doing a quick test count with each radio on North Patrol Aux.

Default Extreme South Jersey

I have a second home in Cape May. I am not picking up anything on the NJICS. I have the Hammonton simulcast and Woodbine towers programmed into my GRE 800. When I am home in Union County I hear the Union County simulcast and West Orange towers loud and clear with the exception of Newark FD. Is anyone picking up anything in extreme South Jersey?

Check the database. There is a Woodbine site now.

Question

I seem to recall earlier in this thread that the current site listed as Woodbine is actually Wildwood. When I was out seeking site numbers associated with towers, Woodbine was part of the Hammonton simulcast site. Can any of the Southern Jersey listeners re-verify this?

Default Little Falls

Mode for LFPD 1 should be "T". I have not confirmed the other 2 tg's yet.

I'm sitting here at my PC building a Win8.1/Server 2012 R2 all-in-one DVD, and the e-mail I use here on the forums is pushed instantly to my phone.

I needed a break from the compile job anyway...

The "wildwood site" is no more. There is a receive site at the Cape May County airport and Cape May Court House. The main "site" is at the Woodbine barracks where the 800 site is. And yes I live in Extreme south and get site 6 at 90%.

I was given info yesterday that contradicted that. I live no where near there, so I went with what I was given...

No problem, there was a wildwood site for 800. I also believe the NJ Transit Tetra will be at the airport.

I was in the Bordentown area on Friday and was hearing both B and A troop groups on that site. Hopefully ad time goes on things will become more consistent.

You want me to add these to the DB, or hold off for now?

I would add them. I was meaning to send a DB request but didn't get around to it. The audio was pretty suggestive that these will be permanent TG assignments; "Testing 12345 on BV DPW channel 1, testing 12345 of BV health dept channel", etc

Thanks Scott
