Thanks, John! I've added the remaining three StateCom talkgroups to the system.

Update today. Seeing some new radios coming online today. Starting at 1800471 and working upward. All are popping up on 1055 which appears now to be an encrypted talkgroup.

I would assume this is still for Somerset County. I am guessing Prosecutor's office maybe?

I am seeing both Somerset Road Dept. & Transportation on 1053, that is starting to look like a common County talkgroup.

Union County P25 Phase II simulcast (which will be part of the PSIC as site 107) is active right now on CC 774.68125MHz. Time is 18:24

Can you confirm the System ID/WACN/Site ID that is being sent out over 774.68125, please?

Thanks. Based on this info, it's clear that this is not a standalone system, but is instead another zone on the PSIC system. I've added Site 1-007 Union County Simulcast to the PSIC system and deleted the standalone Union County (Project-25) system that was created.

Can you restore some reference to it in the Union County database? As of now you'd zero idea it exists at all unless you accidentally stumbled across it while in the PSIC page. It looks with the changes as though it never existed at all in the database. That's going to mess up the average, non-expert or non-forum reading user's experience since they won't know it exists.

Perhaps add the same style boxes under "Law Enforcement" and "Fire" like the EDACS is now? With a reference that the new Phase II system is Site 107 and part of the PSIC?

Or perhaps restore the link, but have it go to the PSIC?

Yes, I can add the links to the system on the Union County page in the subcategories.

I know it's a less than ideal way to have it listed, but unfortunately because it shares the same System ID, WACN and RFSS with the PSIC system, it's really nothing more than just another zone on the PSIC system, even if it will be more or less independent from the rest of the PSIC system.

There is no way to have a redirect link in the database that would send you to the PSIC if you click a Union County P25 link, sorry.

Thanks. It definitely needs a note regarding that Union County's P25 Phase II is related somehow though. Cause with the whole county going to it, that's one hell of an important listing.

Except that there really is no "Union County P25 Phase II" system. It's Site 007 on the NJPSIC system. As far as the technical details are concerned, it's really just another simulcast zone/site on the state's system. Yes, for all practical purposes the system will be Union County's, but it would be incorrect to create an entirely new system in the database to duplicate the same System ID/WACN/RFSS that already exists for the PSIC.

Yup. Poor wording on my part. Looks good. Thanks Chauffer.

No problem, I understood where you were coming from, I just wanted to make sure it was clear to everyone else reading the thread.

Believe me, I'm the first one to agree that the way it's listed currently is less than ideal, but there's no other choice. Kudos to Union County for making the effort to save some money by joining the state's system, as well as theoretically allowing for some actual interoperability for a change...but it sure doesn't look pretty in the RRDB!

I hear ya.

I think that decision had a lot to do with the County OEM which is heavily involved with the NJEMS Task Force & NJ Homeland Security. Being told UC Hazmat will be first to go over, as they have already been issued their APX-7000's, and their mobiles are stacked in the garage. I'll try to stay on it best I can.

By the way, I've updated my site map to include the Union County Simulcast (007).

By the way, if someone can run either Unitrunker or Pro96Com on the Union County simulcast, we need the site NAC, and it would be nice to see if any peers/adjacent sites are being reported.

Currently it's in Site Trunking mode, no peers listed. I don't see a Site NAC in Pro96Com's data. On the PSR-500 it shows N--- not sure if that's where the NAC would display it shows that empty for Site 101's CC as well. I've attached the dump in case that helps

Chris,

Just a quick request - change the 'Johnson Drive' entry to read as 'Watchung'. It fits the layout of the map better (as per the way you have the rest of the sites listed).

I can do that, no problem. Just as an FYI, the "Johnston Drive" name came from the state's/Motorola's documentation, that's why I used it.

Site Map updated again, removed Bearfort and Cranbury sites per RadioDitch's findings...or I guess, lack of findings.
