Fortescue, NJ

Has anybody heard on the Cumberland County Sheriff's frequency 155.865, they are running people out of Fortescue, NJ because of the washed out roads from the back bay? Has anybody been down there to see the damage done by Hurricane Sandy yet? Anybody have any pictures of Hurricane Sandy's damage in Fortescue, NJ? Sheriff's dept. is all around Money Island...Thanks In Advance...

I have been listening to them off and on all day, they have officers posted at roads leading into money island and Fortescue. I can't really tell if there letting anybody in but they are at the least stopping anybody trying to go down there.

My son's friend lives there year-round. My son last talked to him this morning. He has no damage to his trailer, water came up on grass but not up to trailer. He has cable, but no electric (using a generator). Roads are torn up in places, but passable with a four-wheel-drive. Homes along the water are damaged.
