I've heard state comm 5, 6, and 7 all being used over the past week. Do we know where they were based out of? It sounds like National Guard patrols on the barrier islands. I read that someone said state comm 6 is up in Mantoloking, any idea on the others?

I just programmed a bunch of VHF radios from our radio cache for the MS troopers that are working in our town so they can talk directly to our PD.

Michael, you mean KQ2H? Which band? I have used the 440 machine at times... but my club went down with the WTC and we lost one of our guys (he ran the repeater as well as the WPIX transmitter) and I haven ot been on ever since. I need to get back into it and I am slowly doing so... but only once in a blue moon. I have to dust off my IC-U16s :P
