Default Hunterdon 155.025 License

Any Hunterdon experts know 155.025 pl 97.4?

I have been listening to 45 46 91 cars on stops in these towns streets.

They call Hunterdon.

I checked wiki here and the DB. Also checked this forum.
No luck on an FCC license as well.

Can we confirm and make this a new DB submission or am
I overlooking something?

Nice signal.

The correct frequency is 155.0175, not 155.025, and it's already in the DB

155.0175 (97.4 PL) - WNMK960 - Hunt PD 5 C - Police Dispatch Central

It's got something to do with the step size. Your scanner rounds off (for lack of a better term) 155.0175 to 155.0250. I don't understand enough about it to explain it to you.

Same to you.

DJ is correct, this is one of the VHF frequencies that falls on a 7.5 kHz step, not 5 kHz. Same goes for any VHF frequency with four digits to the right of the decimal point, it's a product of narrowbanding.

I believe you have a 996XT, correct? Make sure the band default for VHF is set to NFM 7.5 kHz.

Menu > Settings > Band Defaults > 150.8

Press E, set Modulation to NFM, press E, set Step to 7.5 kHz, press E, press L/O to exit the menu

If you have custom searches programmed in the VHF range, make sure you have them set for NFM/7.5 kHz as well.

Eh, don't forget to program the right frequency, it won't change by itself. You don't say what you have but if it's an older type (pre narrow) it will round off to the next higher standard frequency but is wide enough to receive the splinter frequency (4 digit) below it.
