Default Mountain Creek

Seems that Mountain Creek changed PL tones or frequencies. I've only been able to get one channel so far and the rest are silent. Anyone closer able to figure out what changes have been made?

I have that EMS changed to a DPL of 065, frequency is the same as in the DB. Once I am able to get more, I'll submit all changes.

I'm hearing a repeater on 153.440 with a DPL of 047, not sure if it's them or not.

153.635 with 065 DPL I'm hearing also, as you found. That's definitely them.

Nothing on any of the other frequencies.

Ah here we go, this explains things. Looks like they are redoing the radio system there.

ULS Application - Industrial/Business Pool, Conventional - 0005488866 - Mountain Creek Resort, Inc. - Frequency Summary

New repeaters on:

151.970
152.285
153.440 (047 DPL)
153.635 (065 DPL)

That would certainly explain why I've only heard two of the frequencies listed in the RRDB. I'll check out the other two on the application.

Hearing the following on the new frequencies, haven't ID'd them yet.

152.285 (152 DPL)

Not sure about the 151.970 frequency yet, getting a ton of interference on it.

I've put in a submission for these new repeaters.

151.970 is a total mess, they seem to be using multiple PL's on it (not DPL). Should be fun figuring out what's what.

They may've switched over before the season started, I wasn't listening until this thread. Their application was submitted 2 months ago, so I suspect they were already operating on the new frequencies.

They have had a conventional repeater that uses multiple PLs for various departments, as listed in the DB. That one is silent as far as I've heard. I only noticed because someone at work said that our radios were no longer programmed properly for them, but they never gave us the new info. Are these all narrowband as well or still wideband?

They appear to all be narrowband.

151.970 is the new multi-PL repeater. 123.0 PL is Snowmaking Operations. Not sure about the rest of the PL uses, but I've seen a few others.

None of the other frequencies in the DB are active except for 153.440, but I'm only hearing 047 DPL on that frequency, not a PL.

Here's the rundown so far of the active frequencies I've logged, all of them being repeaters:

151.970 - 103.5 PL
151.970 - 123.0 PL - Snowmaking "Ch. 3"
151.970 - 136.5 PL - Maintenance?
151.970 - 167.9 PL
151.970 - 186.2 PL
151.970 - 206.5 PL

152.285 - 152 DPL - Maintenance?

153.440 - 047 DPL

153.635 - 065 DPL

No guarantee that all those PLs on 151.970 are them. I'm picking up a lot of garbage on that frequency, including bursts of something every couple of seconds. It's really starting to drive me nuts. The other three frequencies are pretty clean, and I'm only hearing those DPLs on them.

Looking at the DB from last year, it seems like more has stayed the same than changed.

151.970 - 103.5 PL - New PL from last year. Missing Security from the list and that is the last one missing from the common repeater. Security did have a PL of 151.4, so it is possible that that is the same and you just have been unable to hear it as of yet.
151.970 - 123.0 PL - Snowmaking
151.970 - 136.5 PL - Lift Operations
151.970 - 167.9 PL - Store Ops
151.970 - 186.2 PL - Reserve 1
151.970 - 206.5 PL - Reserve 2
I believe that one of the Reserve channels had parking shuttle buses on them. Forget what the other was used for.

152.285 - 152 DPL - Maintenance (New freq)

153.440 - 047 DPL - Park Ops

153.635 - 065 DPL - Ski Patrol/EMS

So if this is correct, we are missing Security, Drop Zone Ops, Lift Maint, Events, Racing channels and Instructors.

If Security is on that common repeater 151.970, then they haven't transmitted yet. Not with 151.4 PL at least.

Got most of the stuff confirmed and submitted. They were talking about the radio shop guys programming the new radios today, so I suspect some of the PL's on 151.970 that I haven't seen yet may come alive tomorrow.

Very nice. I've determined I'm too far to hear anything other than the EMS repeater. I let my scanner go for a few hours and got nothing and I know that they are busier than nothing.
