scanner for Atlantic county

What scanner will be able to monitor Atlantic counties trunk system? I currently have the pro 18 digital scanner and it seems to pick up very minimal traffic. It works great on everything else. Thanks in advance.

Any EDACS-capable scanner will receive the county trunk system. Many of the high-traffic users on the system are in ProVoice digital mode. No scanner will receive that. You would either need a genuine PV-capable EDACS radio, or you will need a PC to decode it via DSD4Win.

Maybe this has been asked already, i can't seem to find the thread.

What is the best scanner for the Burlington and Atlantic county area?

maybe its just me. has much changed since we discussed this topic less than a month ago ?. am i missing something ?.

IMHO: 396xt. But u wont get ProVoice.
