Default FDJC

It would appear that the UHF is still very much alive. Though Fireground 2 is on the trunked, apparently 460.550 is now Fireground 3, and 460.600 is now Fireground 6.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 6_1_3 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/536.26 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0 Mobile/10B329 Safari/8536.25)

I've heard radio traffic on these channels-
Fire Dispatch: trunked talk group 2000.
Fireground 2: non-trunked 460.550.
Fireground 6: trunked talk group 2007.
The RR database for FDJC shows different and probably needs updating.

Affirmative. I spoke to a contact today who corrected me, and stated the following:

Old Command 1 (460.550) is now Fireground 2, aka: Channel 2 - Default for active or working fire incidents.
Old Operations (460.600) is now Fireground 3
TG2007 (FG-2 in DB) is Fireground 6, aka: Channel 6
TG2008 (FG-3 in DB) is Fireground 7, aka: Channel 7
TG2009 (FG-4 in DB) is Not Currently In Use
TG2010 (FG-5 in DB) is Not Currently In Use

Apparently they don't have enough faith in the trunked system yet to use it for working fire operations. I'll dig a little deeper then submit corrections.

Corrections to the DB, as always, are greatly appreciated!

All companies are dispatched on dispatch 1 (trunked channel)
Fire, smoke, gas leak and AFA's. are on F/G 2, 460-550 and or F/G 3, 460-600
Still's ie: water leaks, CO calls, first responders, MVA's and car fires are on G/G 6 on the trunk channel.

We also have the capability to operate on other talk groups.

Running Pro96Com on Jersey City, and finding that there are now two additional alternate control channels showing.

470.11250
470.06250

Anybody else verify this?

It never hurts to verify stuff, but in this case it's not really necessary. If Pro96Com or Unitrunker show a frequency actively reporting as a pri/alt control, then that's what the system is broadcasting as such. I've updated the database, thanks.

Cool, thanks. Yeah, I know Pro96Com is basically flawless for those things, but being I wasn't getting the best signal on the portable antenna where I was, figured I'd ask in case of some strange decode error. As long it's a solid update by you admins, it's good by me. :-)

Yup, it's all good. P25 systems manufactured by Motorola will generally feature 3 Alt CC's at any given time (not necessarily all systems, but most of them). In this case, those frequencies were already part of the system in the database, but were not identified as Alt CC's until you noted they were!
