Lovescanner: What you're doing is considered bad form. There is absolutely no reason for you to make multiple posts in a row like that. Live audio feeds are provided by volunteers who spend their own money on the equipment and Internet connection to host these feeds. I understand your enthusiasm in wanting to listen to them, but when you make five and six posts in a row constantly asking about the status of a feed, that comes across as obnoxious. I realize you're new around here, but that doesn't excuse bad manners.

No problem, we all know you're eager to listen, and I'm sure Robert appreciates your interest and enthusiasm. Just give the guy a few minutes to catch his breath LOL!

Highland Park Police will be on the low side. It's the way their talkgroup is set-up on the system. The way you hear them on the feed is exactly the way you would hear them on a portable radio set-up to decode ProVoice. (I experience the same thing with mine). I think their volume is too low myself, but if that's what Highland Park has decided, then we just have to deal with it until they switch to OpenSky digital. Bob even tried different radios for the feed, but the same results still remain...

I remember you stating earlier in the thread that this was Highland Park's preference. I also remember though that after Mr. Persall had the feed computer rebuilt with another sound card (and possibly the different radio that you refer to), that HP volume seemed to be at a much more reasonable volume. Since then the volume seems to have decreased again, but is still louder then it was initially.

Oh well, I am just glad to be listening

Wouldn't mind that if possible (just a tad). But again, I am just happy to be listening.

Noticed some low level background audio again this afternoon. Also noticed the feed was just taken "offline". Hope everything is well.
