Default police district numbers

Welcome to my Gloucester County, NJ Frequency and Information page. Gloucester County is pretty much the Southern fringe of the main Philadelphia Metropolitan Area, with a countywide population of about 237,000. Washington Township is the largest municipality with about 43,000 people. Woodbury is the county seat. I know a good deal about Gloucester County. Most frequencies operate on the 500mhz band (non-trunked). The county has a large system of frequencies and each municipality usually has its own police frequency. Here we go.

Gloucester County is broken up in to Fire/EMS districts, by municipality. So, here is a list of Fire/EMS Districts for the County.
5- Woodbury
6- West Deptford Twp.
7- Westville
9 and 11- Deptford Twp.
10- Washington Twp.
13- Wenonah
15- Woodbury Heights
17- Paulsboro
18- Logan Twp.
19- East Greenwich Twp.
21- Greenwich Twp.

Cool One more question

Thanks for the information. It will come in useful for monitoring Gloucester county PD. Got one more question. For the monroe twp pd, 508.4625 there is no CTCSS code, but on the database it says the PL is 731 DPL. What does this mean? Is there a way to program this into my Radioshack Pro-99 scanner to squelch this frequency?

What freq or county police zone does Greenwich Twp. Police use. I see differences in both of your lists. I tried the 507.8625 and it's been quiet. I would figure they would be on Police Zone 3 but I haven't identified them yet.

Default fire frequencies

FYI: Fire TAC-5 and TAC-6 are no longer fire channels, they have been re-directed to another service. Those fire units who use these channels now are interfering with police operations. The PL tone has been changed to another tone. Most ALL fire units by now should have migrated off TAC-5 and TAC-6, as these two channels were reassigned back in 2002.

Anyone know what the deal is with Logan Twp PD switching to zone 2? I noticed this about 2 weeks ago or so. Does anyone know of any other changes to the PD zones?
