Default Berkeley Twp

Berkeley dispatch has been encripted all day, hope this just that the dispatcher forgot to switch back to clear communications, or is this a full time thing?

It's getting to be a sad day in Ocean County for listening to the local Pd's. With Toms River always encrypted, Berkeley, Pt. Pleasant using it alot more as of late, and if OC when they finally switch to the new frequencies goes encrypted, there will only be a hand full left to listen to. I'm really surprised at Dover, I thought the chief was against it.

Add Brick Township PD to the list also. They are in the process of installing, or will be in the very near future, a digital system with encryption capabilities. And don't forget Jackson and Manchester PDs. Jackson PD is full time encryption and Manchester PD also encrypts, but not full time, except for the detectives talk groups, which are full time. I believe the Lakewood PD system also has encryption capabilities.
