Default 155.010 Still Active At MDC?

I just returned home from Holiday and have not heard anything on 155.010 for the past 3 days. Anyone have any idea if the Albuquerque MDC repeater system is down? Or maybe it's not working on my radio anymore...

I last monitored MDC without problems from here in the Foothills in early part of December.

MDC was planning on transitioning to the 800 system. They might have completed it

what a small world as i was just registering my account becuase i just last night purchased my first scanner, i was reading your thread and my phone rang , wouldnt you know it was my buddy in jail again. well i guess youll be glad to know that its nothing on your part , turns out they just got a whole new system. he asked a guard what it was while i was on the phone with him but she wouldnt give it up, but as soon as he gets it so will we.(so long as its not doing anything to put myself in a legal situation. im new to this and i dont really know what id better not do. so i guess you just get bad news and a smile this time.

I guess that answers my question guys. MDC must have finally moved on to the 800 TRS the rest of the area has been using for years now.

It is true, with funds approved about a year ago, the MDC finally started using the TRS. Good news for those of you who still want to monitor them, they appear to be using analog. However, they are only on system 2...I have not seen the talkgroups nor heard them on system 3.
