You aren't alone. The Kansas forum is a vacuum as well.

Then again, so is the State so I guess it makes sense.

Well the biggest city in the state uses a radio system that can't be monitored with a scanner... Makes talking about it tough...

I listen to Rio Rancho DPS, AAS dispatch, Pres, UNMH and VHF Aviation stuff mostly. Some of the talkgroups on the CABQ system are amusing (namely the guardrail group).

What about APD simulcast on 154.815 &155.850? Are they still active? I don't own a scanner so I haven't checked. If they're still active I may break out my old Windows95 computer and program them into my Motorola h/t.

But a trunking scanner can still listen to the dispatch end of APD and AFD communications.

I figured they had probably turned them off by now. Thank you Fowler.

SMW87110, My scanner days were over a long time ago. I have an APD/AFD feed bookmarked here on the computer. I'll just continue using that when it's online... BTW, I'm an 87110 as well!

Thanks guys,

Terry
