Hi Mike, where did you get the 126.875 from? I don't have that freq in my list...

I have heard a U-2, Call sign Pinon talking with ABQ center on 133.05. They were above FL600. ;-)

Thanks Again

I work most of these sectors you've mentioned, so I can answer your question.

133.05 - Sector 71, FL290-350, usually combined up with sector 72
125.075 - Sector 95, FL290-350, usually combined up with 96
128.675 - Sector 96, FL360 ABV.
128.225 - Sector 72, FL360 ABV
119.45 - This is the old sector 70 frequency. This current one for 70 is 120.95, and is FL280 ABV
118.65 - Sector 79, which is ALWAYS combined up with sector 94 (133.65). 94, when open, owns FL320 BLO, and 79 owns FL330 ABV.

If I were visiting the NE part of NM, I'd scan all the freqs above (little to no traffic on 72, 96 and 79's freq, but it wouldn't hurt), and I would add 134.75 (sector 97, FL290-360), 132.12 (98, combined up with 97, FL360 ABV). Those two sectors are centered over AMA, TX but stretch from Tucumcari, NM to 40 W of Gage, OK. As an added benefit, I am occasionally heard on 97/98 freq's, as I am doing training on those two sectors

Thanks Fred. I was trying to look that up on the Virtual Air Traff Contol Site that I saw that you are on. Great to finally get an answer from someone who works as an Air Traff Controller. I listen to those sectors on a Radio Feed that is located in Cortez Colorado on Remotehams.com. Was trying to confirm what I have been listening to on 120.95 as handoffs. You wouldnt happen to have Sector Charts ?

There are two frequencies. 126.85, which is sector 210 (FL280BLO) and 87 132.32 and is FL290ABV. 87 is always open, with 21 combined up with it.

Well, it appears my ABQ ARTCC list is dated. I'm also shy a bunch of UHF frequencies. Do any of you have a list you could post or send via email. It would be much appreciated.

Dave
(for the next week listening from near Red River, NM).

135.4 - Denver 30, FL340-360
132.22 - Denver 29, FL270-330

Denver 30 and 29 are often combined up. If you can receive those questions, you may be able to receive 46 (FL370ABV) on 124.77, and perhaps 41 (FL260BLO) on 128.37.

Uh Fred !!!!

Sorry but while we are the subject of ZDV or the other gentlemen can you please help out on the frequencies of the Sector to the East of 132.225/135.4/124.775. I believe that 124.775 is super high that extends to the 132.175/126.75 Sector of ZDV and 134.125 is traffic descending into Denver. Question is is there a frequency between 124.775 and 134.12 ? I know other active ZDV freqs are 133.425,125.675,118.225, and 132.875.

41/29/30/46 share the same boundary. East of that, the stack is:

27 - FL260BLO 133.4
28 - FL270-FL330 134.12
39 - FL340-FL370 127.52
46 - FL380 ABV, and the maps I was given to study from do not have that frequency.

BTW I did make a mistake on the altitudes for 30 and 46. 30 tops out at FL370, 46 is ABV FL380
