Officials with the 49th Fighter Wing of Holloman AFB, New Mexico, have announced plans for the 2009 Holloman Open House are underway. The one-day open house, which will highlight all the military branches and various government agencies, is scheduled for
Saturday, Oct 24.
The theme of the show is still being determined at this time, however, scheduled acts include demonstrations by the F-22A Raptor and F-4 Phantom II, a Holloman heritage flight and performances by several other military aircraft and assets.

Authorized Items
To ensure the safety of guests and personnel, all authorized items will be inspected prior to entering the flight line/static displays areas. The following items are permitted:
a) Cellular telephones, pagers and FRS transceivers
b) Handheld portable televisions, radios and
scanners
c) Small fanny packs and purses
d) Cameras and camcorders (owners should not load film prior to entering the show area as they may be required to open all compartments at security checkpoints
e) Folding chairs and lawn chairs
f) Umbrellas and sunshades
g) Wheelchairs
h) Baby bags and strollers if attending with an infant or small child
I do plan on attending the show... who else is going to go???
