Default ABQ for the Festival

Just visiting from Long Island NY. Programed in the ABQ EDACS TRS. Just hearing the dispatcher. Is that how they set it up? I know about the Pro Voice thing. How much will I be able to hear on this system?

So dispatcher only, no field units operating in Pro Voice? OK.

Ok, your hearing the dispatchers because they are using Analog, you can't hear the units in the field because they use Provoice.

Thanks. Spent the early morning watching the balloons and listening to launch control personnel get them off the ground. Things went well with the exception of the Cow. It had a temporary "udder failure". But soon it was aloft. Heading west tomorrow. Hope for you guys we get a Provoice scanner soon!
