Yup. And it begins. Took everyone a while but it's slowly starting to come alive with updating and upgrading.

Good thing the truck's scanner is getting upgraded to a P25 capable unit at the end of the summer.

Things should be same. Just simulcasted onto the primary channel. Listener wise will be same almost minus any added channels or changes to channels with fcc. But overall shouldn't change much. Out east (east nm) past week the encrypt debate has been coming up with admins, chiefs, etc. Half for it half against it. The argument of interoperability is in many eyes. Some have mentioned any user within the localized government infrastructure should be in loop minus special select channels of secure need be areas. Most though are against the full deployment. State however for it.
