Thumbs down APD radio issues

Around 12:35 today, PD was stating that their console radios had gone down, any they were switching to their back up's. Valley's back up radio was not working so all units were being dispatched on East tac. All officers were told to buddy up and only priority 1 incidents were going to be dispatched over the air. The radio system seemed fine to me along with this only going on for about 15 min before dispatch said the radios were fixed.

Interesting. Bern county is "supposed" to be the backup for Abq when that happens. Wonder if they tried switching dispatch over there? I know that would overload the BC dispatch center, but at least they would be on the air.

The cool thing about APD Radio is that have Orions at each console as backups to the actual console radios...now if they both go down....
