Default Digital or analog?

New trunking system in town. Fcc shows freqs like 453.4565 and so on.
How do i determine which it is so i will know what type of equpt to get
the city is desoto tx, the use a central dispatch for three cities called
southwest regional whatever ( 3 license # wqhi 705,576,671

It looks like this might be the system that you are talking about

Scanner Frequencies: Southwest Regional Communications Center Trunking System, Cedar Hill, Texas

If that's the case, it's a MPT-1327 system which is apparently not easily monitored. There's a discussion in this thread:

I think the people in that forum can help you figure out what you need.
