Cool FCC Licensee Data Base

I would like to get the FCC link where I can search a whole county for all licensees.

License Search

Use the "Advanced License Search" to search in county.

Hope this helps.

Or go straight here
.http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchGeographic.jsp

You can select by State/County, or by Address (of licensee, not transmitter), or by Coordinates. And you can specify freq or freq range if you wish.

I like this one:
Site / Frequency Query

I leave Service at All Services:

Then click on the State & County I want to check.

Under frequency I might put a Begin and End set of freqs like 150 & 174 or 451 & 470 or 851 to 870 to help filter out lot of stuff I won't be checking with my scanner anyway. I really don't like sorting through all the Nextel stuff that comes up in the 851 MHz band.

And I really like using the Location Specification with a lat/long which I get from an address at Google Maps, or other sources to get a lat/long, and then with the Location Search Method I click on Point Radius with a 1 or 2 mile distance using a set of Begin and End freqs to look for a license for a business or agency of the lat/long. I just need to make sure I have the same state, or leave the state blank, for a lat/long when I check that way or it won't give a return.

Then I click on Submit Query.

Appreciate the responses!
Some years ago I had a FCC web site book marked that grouped all licensees no matter the frequency. A search could be down by County & no other info needed. I'm guessing FCC has changed that search feature.
