Smile Problem with ICOM IC-718

Hello everybody i am new and i want everybody to help me please.
I have an ICOM IC-718 transceiver this rig just work in 4or5 frequencies i mean i can just send TX in these frequencies and all the other frequencies are locked now how can i unlock these locked frequencies
please if every body have a solution please help me i am waiting for your replay all.

I assume that you are a licensed Amateur. Right?

Although I've never used that rig, my experience with other Icom rigs is that they come with rather complete instruction manuals. It would seem like this would be something that would be covered there. Have you tried that approach, and, if so, what seems to be the actual problem? For example, what frequencies are you trying to transmit on that don't work?

Default Problem with IcomIC-718

Try resetting your CPU, while your transceiver is off, hold down the UP & DOWN buttons simultaneously then turn the transceiver back on, now it should be reset to the factory default settings. In case you dont have one, a copy of the owners manual can be downloaded free at the Icom site.
